Accessibility and parking

ACCESSIBILITY

The Leopoldpark is located in the heart of Ostend and is easy to reach by bike, train, bus or coastal tram.

TRAIN

Ostend Station is about a 10-minute walk away. Cross the bridge opposite the station, go a little right and then immediately left towards the big church (Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk). Keep left of the church and go straight ahead until you reach the tram tracks. Turn right. The Leopoldpark is 150 meters further on your left.

COASTAL TRAM

Trams stop near the Leopoldpark (just under 100 meters away), at the stop Marie-Joséplein. From Ostend’s train station, this is 1 stop on the tram with direction De Panne.

BUS

Many city buses of De Lijn take the stop Marie-Joséplein. The Leopoldpark is just under 100 meters away. From the parking area just outside the city (Maria-Hendrikapark), centre bus Line 1 also goes to the stop Marie-Joséplein.

From all areas of the city, buses go the station. From here, the distance to the Leopoldpark is easy to cover by foot or by tram with direction De Panne (from the train station of Ostend, this is 1 stop).
